Groupcall sends messages to parents (by telephone, email and text) about pupil absence and any other school event that calls for parental contact.

Importantly, it claims to be the only system that reads real-time data from the school's management information system without the need for separate data entry or transfer. This is a significant point, and its importance is sometimes underestimated by users and suppliers of niche management products.
