GTC members' cultural passport

Mandatory registration with the GTC has been a contentious issue with some teachers, but I can suggest one reason why it may be worthwhile.

On a recent visit to Naples, I learned that there was a reciprocal European Union arrangement whereby teachers who have permanent residency and employment within the EU could enjoy concessionary admissions to museums and sites of historic interest. All that was required was the production of a GTC registration card.
