The GTC wants pound;23 from you

TEACHERS throughout England will from next week be asked to approve paying a pound;23 annual fee to the new General Teaching Council. The council, responsible for running a register of all teachers qualified t work in state schools and non-maintained special schools, is writing to 410,000 teachers asking them for preferred methods of paying the annual charges, the first of which are due in February.
