Hands up for peace

(Photograph) - Karlah Daly of Christ Church Upper Armley CE Primary School in Leeds shows her message for peace written on an outline of her own hand. Along with many schools in the city, Christ Church pupils were taking part in a Day of Peace initiative supported by Education Leeds. Large polystyrene white doves were "feathered" with the messages to be exhibited in venues throughout the city during the past two months. The school also organised a peace assembly, a candle-lit peace walk and displays in the hall on the theme of peace.
