Happy new year

10th January 2003 at 00:00
Which new year? That's relevant if you belong to the international community for which the internet has long been a valuable resource. It's worth checking out Shambles (which is anything but), a new website organised by British teacher Chris Smith. Well known to the UK's ICT community for his work with the English Schools Foundation in Hong Kong, Chris has moved to Thailand, from where he runs Shambles for teachers, students, parents, support staff and administrators in 17 countries in South East Asia. And don't let the ICT reference put you off - its main focus is learning, backed up with a database of more than 18,000 education websites checked and approved by other teachers. Take time out to visit his site and extend your happy new years...
