Diary choice for this year's Bad Taste PR Awards: "Child Killing Case Highlights the Importance of Implementing First Day Contact in Schools" trumpets a press release from Stephen Clarke, managing director of Truancy Call Ltd.

The "child killing" is the murder of 11-year-old Rory Blackwell, who disappeared after being dropped off at his primary school.
