Head doesn't stand in Theresa May's shadow

6th October 2000 at 01:00
In your profile of Theresa May (Friday, September 22), you present me as a "political friend" of the shadow education secretary.

I am not, nor have I ever been, a member of a political party. I never allow political considerations to have any bearing uponmy work.

Incidentally, Theresa May has told me that during her visit to our school she formed no impression of any political convictions I may or may not have.
