Health - Don't skip the details

If you are a teacher who doesn't know your twister from your slalom or your jumping jax from your double Dutch, then help is at hand from the British Heart Foundation's new skipping skills DVD.

The resource has been produced by the BHF's National Centre for Physical Activity and Health at Loughborough University and released as part of the foundation's sponsored skipping challenge, Jump Rope For Heart.

The new 35-minute DVD contains beginner and advanced skills sections and slow-motion demonstrations. The BHF has also started selling their own skipping ropes to support the initiative.
