Helping people in Malawi

24th June 2005 at 01:00
During last year's FoodAid Week, UK schools raised nearly pound;100,000 for projects in Zambia. This year's Malawi appeal (October 10-16) is for resources such as fruit tree seedlings, agricultural tools and water pumps. If you register now, you will receive a FoodAid Pack with background material and citizenship lesson plans for pupils in KS1-4.

Topics include hunger, fair trade, debt and the importance of aid. The plans and fact sheets are easily printable from a CD-Rom. To order the pack, call the hotline or visit the website.
