High-flyer wins a laptop

A teenage circus trapeze artist from Wales has won a laptop computer and a trip for two to New York for her GCSE results in IT. Amy Morreau, 16, from Radyr comprehensive in Cardiff, won the Axios A-star award, designed to encourage more girls to study and take up computing careers. The UK-wide awards are organised by Edinburgh-based software firm Axios Systems and co-sponsored by Accenture and IBM.
