Highland fling Canadian style

26th September 2003 at 01:00
A temporary exhibition about the Scots who shaped Canada is now showing at the Museum of Scotland. Trailblazing through unmapped lands, surviving in an alien landscape, the pioneers sought adventure and a new life. The exhibition, free to school parties of up to 33, asks the how, why, and what behind the decision to go and to stay. Call 0131 247 4041 for bookings, or visit www.nms.ac.uk.
