Historical revamp

The Historical Association is attempting to revamp its image after calling in consultants Coopers Lybrand. The association wants to halt a decline in membership. Management has been streamlined and its publications have been restyled. The association holds its annual conference next week at the University of Manchester's Institute of Science and Technology.
