The Hobbies Millennium Design a Model Competition;Subject of the Week;Technology

* GCSE students are invited to enter for The Hobbies Millennium Design a Model Competition. Designs should be of a wheeled toy, preferably with some automaton movement, or a clock, musical model or wind vane. A free copy of the company's Hobbies Handbook 2000 can be obtained by sending a letter on the school's headed paper. Top prize is pound;100 for the student and a fretwork saw (worth pound;800) for the school. Deadline for registration is December 31, 1999.
