ThE Write Away 2 booklet containing pieces by well-known children's writers, which was given away in The TES last September, has proved so popular that there are no longer any copies available. Write Away 3, for pupils aged 11 to 14, is due to be launched on September 17 and will again feature authors such as Michael Morpurgo and Anne Fine, and two winners of the Write Away 2 competition. The junior Write Away 3, for 7s to 11s, will be announced in the September TES Primary magazine. Teachers will again be invited to enter pupils for a writing contest.
