If you thought dolls houses were mainly ornamental, think again.

An exhibition at Kirkcaldy Museum and Art Gallery until October 12 features more than 30 dolls houses, mainly modern, some very personal and mostly on loan from local makers. You can see the Protest House which is based on a fictional farm, the terrific Harry Potterish Scary Book House and a delightful dressmakers' shop among others.
