Bill Robb, consultant in values education, is standing as an Independent on the north-east MSP list. The one-time chief executive of the charitable Gordon Cook Foundation doesn't like "corrupt" party politics.

So what is his pitch to Mastrick, Monifeith and Macduff? Doing what his constituents want of him regardless of whether he believes in it, taking only three-fifths of his MSP salary, publishing his tax return and conducting his own investigations. A Martin Bell for Scotland? No white suit but he is flattered by the thought.
