Hot time for Hilda

21st November 2003 at 00:00
When education consultant and former heidie Hilda de Felice popped over to Florida to become a "Buzan Licensed Instructor", thus formalising her association with mind-mapping guru Tony of that ilk, little did she realise the impressive, or perhaps that should be notorious, history of her surroundings.

The penthouse and roof garden of the Palm Beach Hotel in which the international course was held had previously reverberated to the party frolics of Frank Sinatra, his Rat Pack and the presidential Kennedy clan in the 1960s.

Considering the alleged links between the Kennedys, Sinatra and the mafia at the time, signora de Felice's surname should have ensured a warm welcome.
