Hothouse for parents

19th November 2004 at 00:00
Please Miss is a new website for parents and carers of children aged 3-11. It discusses issues from free nursery places to finding a school and learning about the national curriculum, as well as information about tackling bullying, getting involved with the PTA and recommended activities for school holidays. A useful section is dedicated to adoption issues. Every term there is a piece about a school in the "Head Teacher's Report" section. The information is free, but for pound;30 per year you can access downloadable worksheets, illustrated recipes and the members-only chatroom; SATs practice papers will be available in February.
