Huddersfield - Strictly inclusive chance to dance

20th August 2010 at 01:00

Schoolchildren from across Huddersfield stepped out with Strictly Come Dancing stars as part of a scheme to involve every pupil in Latin American and ballroom dance. The celebration in Huddersfield Town Hall was the culmination of Kirklees Council's Essentially Dance programme, in which over 120 teachers led sessions in PE lessons and after-school clubs. BBC's Strictly stars Darren Bennett and Lilia Kopylova join hundreds of schoolchildren and older people at the event. DM.
