Influential rulers through the ages

What is it?

TESiboard has chosen 24 rulers from across the ages whose influence has been felt globally. The cast of historic characters includes Henry VIII, Tutankhamun, Alexander the Great and Ivan the Terrible.

How can it be used?

Aimed at KS2, information is presented in various formats such as mock websites, encyclopaedias and glossaries, providing useful secondary sources for research and models for pupils' writing. An interactive graph- maker and stamp collection encourage pupils to analyse the information and meet data-handling objectives in maths and ICT.

What else?

Why not use the images and information to create a class timeline?
