Hundreds of resources

Physics-online, which was nominated for the BETT 2003 Online Learning Award, is attracting interest among science teachers. It's a subscription web service (pound;149 a year per school for the standard service; pound;199 for a premium subscription, which includes content from the firm's CD-Roms), with video lectures, movies and some clever technology. There's 600 "applets" (mini programs) in all, including its award-winning Force and Motion simulation. The service is very flexible, allowing teachers to customise their own versions of the site to place the resources where they want them.
