A class of five-year-olds at an inner-London school has had up 15 different teachers within a year.

Eleven children who joined the school in January and who have suffered the most disruption are receiving extra help with literacy.

Headteacher Gwen Thomas said she believed many potential applicants avoided the school because of its inner-city location.
