Northern Artists into Schools provides free information and advice on arts-in-education to schools in Yorkshire and north-west England seeking artists to work in an educational context. The project is hosted by Sheffield Hallam University, School of Cultural Studies, Psalter Lane Campus, Sheffield S11 8UZ. Tel: 0114 225 2643, e-mail: Web: csnais Young percussionists aged up to 28 infull-time education at college or university are invited to enter for the Music Foundation of Europe Scholarship Awards. Entries should be sent on cassette tape, CD or mini disc to Yamaha by December 1. Six candidates will be invited to perform at the finals held at the Royal College of Music on January 30, out of which three will receive pound;2,000 to be used to further their studies.
