CHILDREN can explore animal diseases by entering The Ark on the Institute for Animal Health's site at www.iah. ukiah_education "Collywobbles for chickens" looks at a parasitic infection that affects chickens' intestine and "Bgs that bite" looks at ticks that spread diseases through the blood. Foot-and-mouth disease, causes of salmonella and overseas diseases are also included. The teachers' section provides ideas for science lessons and projects.
