But nobody has yet explained why this is the way that all lessons now have to be structured. For practical lessons, involving work over an extended time, are we not just wasting time by stopping for a plenary session?
Someone once told me that if you teach for 40 years your style of teaching is in fashion twice. Is not the compulsory three-part lesson just another aspect of "the emperor's new clothes"?
