Awards for schools doing excellent work with computers were launched last night by The TES and the British Educational Communications Technology Agency.

The IT Excellence Awards will replace the ICT in Practice Awards for individual teachers, and reward schools doing innovative work with technology in a range of fields including inclusion, curriculum development and leadership.
