This August, the UK plays host to the European Square Dance Convention at Hemel Hempstead Sports Centre. Dancing will be offered at all levels from Mainstream to C2, plus round dances, with up to 20 hours'

dancing at each level. This is a rare opportunity for young people to attend such a major dance event at little cost - pound;18 per person, under 16s free. However, it is not for beginners; all dancers must have completed the Mainstream programme of Callerlab, the international Callers'

Association.
