It's just not worth it

I recently declined an interview at a college in Hertfordshire. The interview was scheduled to last 30 minutes whereas the "skill builder assessment" testing literacy and numeracy was an hour. What kind of message does this send to experienced and well-qualified applicants? I have accepted a position elsewhere.
