Food tsar Gillian Kynoch did not mince (ouch!) her words when she addressed the Children in Scotland conference (page six).

Speaking about the forthcoming national statement on school meals and nutritional standards, Kynoch said: "We will be pinning our colours to the mast and there will be no fudge here." Another spoilsport.
