LEWS CASTLE College in Stornoway, which faces a serious funding shortfall of up to pound;500,000, has said it might have to make six or seven staff redundant. Principal DavidGreen said the "remoteness" grant it receives is insufficient, and he hopes that all the island colleges will form an alliance to press for adequate funding.
