(Photograph) - Jodie McKenna of Blackfriars primary celebrates being the 6,000th pupil in Scotland to take part in the Schools British Sign Language Project.

The Glasgow school has been involved since the project was launched in 1999 by the charity Deaf Connections. It aims to improve communications between the deaf and hearing world.
