Nafez has 1.45 litres of lemonade in a jug. He has seven different bottles that hold 200ml, 250ml, 300ml, 350ml, 450ml, 500ml, and 600ml.

* Which three bottles could Nafez fill with the lemonade from the jug?

* Which four bottles could he fill?

* Find another combination of four bottles he could use.

SOLUTIONS Jugful of lemonade (ages 8 to 12). 600ml + 500ml + 350ml = 1.45 litres; 500ml + 450ml + 300ml + 200ml = 1.45 litres; 600ml + 350ml + 300ml + 200ml = 1.45 litres.
