Kidnap victim biography

5th May 2006 at 01:00
The late Rosemary Linnell (author of the Shakespearean story Robin Babb: Actor's Apprentice) wrote another historical novel which has been published posthumously. The Revenge of Indian Peter is really a biography in fictional form. Peter Williamson was kidnapped from 18th-century Aberdeen to endure slavery in America and capture by the Delaware Indians. His subsequent struggle for recognition and justice makes the story more than a curiosity. The Revenge of Indian Peter costs pound;16.99 from Book Guild Publishing.
