Kumon down

Kumon Maths, the tutoral agency that can afford billboard advertising, certainly got its sums right when it bought a full-size, rotating billboard advert on a prime site in Giffnock, East Renfrewshire.

The timing was impeccable: the advert, rather implying that local kids are so bad at sums that they need a boost, appeared in the same week an HMI squad arrived to grill the education authority.

C'mon Kumon.
