"Education, education...? All just a load of spin" (TES, September 24) resonates. Two parliamentary terms on, we now understand the full meaning of the mantra "education, education, education". In 1997 Tony Blair was, of course, referring to the blueprint for the new (Labour) tripartite system: private education, selective education and inclusive education.
