IS THE Chris Woodhead, who last week told the Government to spend less on universities and more on primary schools, the same Chris Woodhead who told the right-wing think-tank, Politeia, last year that there was "no inspections' evidence to suggest that schools were, on the whole, under-funded to do the job they were expected to do?"

The Diary thinks that we should be told.
