Letters extra: hitting those who abuse teachers

May I say how refreshing it is to hear from Mr Blair that the Government intends to hit hard - in the legal rather than the Prescott sense - those who threaten or abuse teachers. I can't help but wonder if the departure of Chris Woodhead from Ofsted and the replacement of David Blunkett as Education Secretary are significant in the timing of this move.
