Letters extra : Wragg on the cover

18th July 2003 at 01:00

What a wonderful idea - Ted Wragg on the front page as well as the back page ( TES , 4703)! Classes of 80 thought up by a leading headteacher! Meanwhile three other teachers would be freed up in order to take five pupils each. Do teachers volunteer for the class of 80 or are they chosen according to criteria (loudest voice, experience taming lions, didn't send the Head a Christmas card?) What a hoot! Then at the end I read that pound;4 million spent on pathfinder schools has improved staff morale. One of the best and funniest articles Ted has ever written, even surpassing his article on the back page of the same edition. Will this be a regular feature?

Keep up the good work!
