Libraries' work with vulnerable young people and families is showcased in this year's Libraries Change Lives awards shortlist. The three projects in line for the overall award, to be presented in April, are: Blackburn Libraries' Books on the Edge programme, which aims to involve young homeless people and those in drug rehabilitation in creating youth library book collections; Sighthill library in Edinburgh's activities with socially excluded children and teenagers; and Lincolnshire libraries' development of services for the county's large number of guest workers and their families, including communities from Ghana, Poland, Portugal and France.
