Light ahead for vets

A Luton college is developing a new foundation degree in veterinary science as part of a Pounds 3.74 million government scheme funded by the Higher Education Funding Council for England. Barnfield College has joined Vetnet LLN, the national lifelong learning network for veterinary and allied professionals, a group of universities, veterinary schools and colleges that aim to tackle the national shortage of vets and animal care professionals.
