Last week a photograph taken of Lillian Downie to publicise the launch of Adult Learners' Week ran alongside a story on financial difficulties in three colleges. In order to distance Ms Downie from the news story, the caption stated she was "not facing a P45" and "wanted out of Aberdeen College - but on her own terms" (to run her own business). We apologise for any false implications this may have contained.
