Another title has been added to the Scotnotes series of study guides to Scottish writers and literary texts, which are aimed at senior secondary school and further education college students. It is by Margery Palmer McCulloch on Liz Lochhead's Mary Queen of Scots got her Head Chopped Off. Other volumes are David S Robb on MurielSpark's The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie and Alan Riach on Hugh MacDiarmid's poetry.
