Living with danger

7th February 2003 at 00:00
Long after the war in Cambodia officially ended many people still suffer the same fate as Ram Chamreum, who lost a limb in a landmine explosion.

Christian Aid has produced an excellent poster called "We can all be heroes", about Ram's work for the Mines Advisory Group. It suggests classroom activities for pupils at key stages 2 and 3, in which they consider what heroism and danger might mean in their lives. "We can all be heroes" is available free.Email: orders@christian-aid.org
