HATS OFF to those north London teachers who tore up their threshold application forms this week. Solidarity is not dead (though have they considered all filling in their forms with exactly the same information?).

The Dary gathers they originally planned to set fire to the packs - before considering this might set a bad example to the local juvenile delinquents. Let's hope they remembered to put all those shreds in the bin ...
