Londoners roam free

27th April 2001 at 01:00
ALL London students and pupils can now travel free in the capital on school trips during term-time. Their schools and colleges can apply for free travel on the Underground, buses, Docklands Light Railway and Tramlink in a schemethat will probably cost the Greater London Authority pound;500,000 a year. The scheme, an election pledge by London mayor Ken Livingstone, will be administered by Transport for London.
