What would you rescue if the school was on fire?

Managing Behaviour, a series of four half-hour videos by Bill Rogers, published by Quartus, Kennet House, 77-79 Bath Road, Thatcham, Berks, RG18 3BS (pound;35 for series), should be required annual viewing, says Carlene Alexander, head of learning support at Hatch End High School, Harrow.

"Bill Rogers manages to make teaching difficult students a challenge, no a nightmare. His strategies are always realistic, usable, memorable and inspirational. There is something for all teachers to learn, and he recognises that although many factors are not within our control, we can influence some of what students do by our own approach."

We pay pound;40 for each recommendation published. Write to Love It, TES Friday, Admiral House, 66-68 East Smithfield, London E1W 1BX
