Luck of the draw

eacher Wanda Champion of Doncaster (above) has taken away pound;3,000 in prize money after winning the TES Primary Brainteaser competition.

Wanda, who has been teaching for 26 years and works at St Joseph's RC primary in Rossington, was delighted by the news. "I'll share the cash with my son and daghter, who are both at university," she said. "I haven't thought what I'll do with my pound;1,000 yet, but I might make some improvements to the kitchen."

The two runners-up, who each receive pound;1,000 in holiday vouchers, are Stephen Hall of London and Kathryn Giles of New Farnley, Leeds.
