Make the Link awards

The TES Scotland and TES would like to remind readers in schools and further education colleges that they still have time to enter our pound;21,000 award scheme to recognise British schools that have developed innovative links with other countries. The deadline for the Make the Link awards is 6pm on July 20.

There are four main awards, sponsored by HSBC and supported by the British Council: the pound;5,000 International School of the Year award; a Pounds 3,500 World Link award for the best single non-European link; a pound;2,500 European Link award; and a pound;5,000 College of the Year award.Four runners-up prizes are worth pound;1,000-pound;1,500 each.

Entrants will be asked to say how they would use the prize money to extend links further.

Further details, and an application form, are available at www.tes.co.ukMake_the_Link. We apologise for those who sent in entries via our website before June 4 since technical problems led to them being lost.

They will have to resubmit them.
