HOW can educational research make a bigger impact on

policy-making and classroom practice? Governors, researchers, teachers and parents who believe they may have some answers to this perennial question can attend two one-day events in

January being organised by the National Education Research Forum.

The first will be held in

London on January 10 and the second in Manchester on
