A national programme of events to support drugs education for P7s will run this month under the title Choices for Life. The annual initiative is led by the Scottish Crime and Drug Enforcement Agency.

Teaching packs have been created by Learning and Teaching Scotland and Aberdeen City Council, which tie in with the events and with A Curriculum for Excellence.

The packs, along with leaflets for parents and carers, have been distributed to every local authority.
